Field Support Technicians
Ada County employs eleven Field Support Technicians that provide computer, laptop, netbook, mobile phone, and mobile device support to the downtown Courthouse and outlying Ada County affiliates. The essential functions of our Field Support Technicians is to install and upgrade Network related computers, laptops, printers, IP phones, related peripherals, and devices. Also, they maintain network and desktop integrity of all computer software, both in-house and 3rd party.
Field Support Technicians also respond to client and user inquiries. These include but are not limited to diagnosing hardware, software, and related problems. Additionally, they help instruct clients and users in the proper use of equipment, software, and mobile devices. Our support team supports more than 4000 devices and is available 24/7.
Ada County IT Field Support Technicians are focused on ease of access to IT Services throughout the County and all County affiliates. Our goals include personalized service, speed in resolving reported issues, along with other pro-growth and robust abilities planned for future County growth.
