Woman Struck and Killed in Crosswalk Identified
Coroner Owens identified 87 year-old Florence Goar, of Boise, as the victim struck by a vehicle while in the crosswalk at Northview and Milwaukee on February 27, 2019. Florence was pronounced dead of severe blunt force trauma with severe head injury at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.
Toxicology is pending and results may take several weeks to return.
The investigation is being conducted by the Boise Police Department.
