Coroner Owens identified 75 year old Robert K. Olinger, of Boise, as the man who died after being struck by a car on Broadway Avenue at Richman Street on Sunday October 15, 2017. Olinger was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center after the accident and died from his injuries. The cause of death has been ruled as severe blunt force trauma due to pedestrian motor vehicle impact. The manner of death has been ruled an accident. This case is currently being investigated by the Boise Police Department.
