Coroner Owens identified 29 year-old David Taylor Jones, of Meridian, as the man killed in a single vehicle accident that occurred around 1:40 this morning at the top of the westbound off-ramp on the north side of the Eagle Rd overpass. The cause of death has been ruled as blunt force trauma due to a motor vehicle accident.
Toxicology results are pending and may take several weeks to return.
The case is under investigation by the Meridian Police Department
