21 year old Joseph A. Klonowski was recovered from a pond near the intersection of Chinden Boulevard and Highway 16 at 11am on Tuesday September 13, 2016. He was transported to Saint Alphponsus Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 1:07PM. According to reports, the vehicle he was driving left the road and entered the pond.
Outside testing will be necessary to assist in determining the cause of death, and those results could take several weeks to receive. This case is being investigated as accidental vs. natural, as according to reports, Joseph was seen to be slumped over the wheel prior to his vehicle leaving the road.
