CORONER IDENTIFIES BOISE MAN WHO DIED IN MOTORCYCLE VS. VEHICLE COLLISION

PLACE OF PRONOUNCED DEATH: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center; Boise, ID
RESIDENCE: Boise, ID
CAUSE OF DEATH: Traumatic Blunt Force Injuries
MANNER OF DEATH: Accident
Summary:  63-year-old Thomas Shirk, of Boise, Idaho, was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center on Friday, February 28, 2020 after a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision that occurred near N. Eagle Road and Baldcypress Street in Meridian, Idaho. Mr. Shirk was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.  

Toxicology is pending and may take several weeks to return.  

This case is under investigation by the Meridian Police Department.
