CORONER IDENTIFIES SNOWBOARDER KILLED ON BOGUS BASIN ROAD
Coroner Owens identified 32 year-old Shea Helmick, of Meridian, as the man struck by a vehicle on Bogus Basin Road on Saturday February 9, 2019. Shea was snowboarding off trail and attempted to jump Bogus Basin Road near milepost 15 when he was struck by a vehicle. He was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
This case is under investigation by the Idaho State Police
