Coroner Owens identified 60 year-old James Leland Smith as the man’s body which was found near Findley Street and Diamond Avenue under the Broadway Avenue Overpass on December 10, 2017. An autopsy revealed no obvious injuries that would result in death. At this time the cause and manner of death are pending toxicology results which can take several weeks to return. Foul play is not suspected.
The case is under investigation by the Boise Police Department
