Weed, Pest & Mosquito Advisory Committee Opening

 

(Boise, ID) – The Board of Ada County Commissioners is currently seeking an individual interested in volunteering their time to serve on Ada County’s Weed, Pest & Mosquito Abatement Advisory Committee.  This is a volunteer position.  Interested applicants must live in and own a residence in Ada County within the mosquito abatement district, and must be a registered voter.

The seven (7) member Ada County Weed, Pest & Mosquito Advisory Committee typically meets on the second Wednesday of each month to discuss all aspects associated with weed, pest & mosquito control programs within Ada County.  Committee members may also be asked to perform other duties and functions as required by the Ada County Weed, Pest & Mosquito Advisory Committee by-laws.

Individuals interested in serving on this board are asked to complete a volunteer board application, available at the Ada County Commissioners’ Office or on the Web.  The Commissioners’ Office is located on the third floor of the Ada County Courthouse at 200 W. Front Street, Boise, 83702.  The application is also available on the Ada County website at www.adacounty.id.gov/Commissioners, and from there click on the Volunteer Board Information link.

This is a volunteer opening, for which applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
