PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Ada County to Consider Forgone Taxes Resolution
(Boise, ID) – The Board of Ada County Commissioners (BOCC) is holding a public hearing on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 6 PM in the Public Hearing Room of the Ada County Courthouse to consider a resolution to use forgone taxes.
The BOCC will discuss a resolution to use forgone taxes in the amount of $3,025,600. If approved this money would be used for an additional courtroom on the second floor of the Ada County Courthouse ($1,570,000); to complete audio/video upgrades in all of the courtrooms in the Ada County Courthouse ($475,600); and for acquisition of real property for expansion of the Ada County Jail and Public Safety facilities ($980,000) in the FY19 Tentative Budget.
Anyone wishing to testify in this matter should be present on July 17, 2018 at 6PM in the Public Hearing Room of the Ada County Courthouse | 200 W. Front Street, Boise, Idaho 83702.
