Ada County Parks, Open Space & Trails Advisory Board Opening

(Boise, ID) – The Board of Ada County Commissioners is currently seeking an individual interested in volunteering their time to serve on Ada County’s Parks, Open Space and Trails Advisory Board.  This 7-member volunteer board advises and provides recommendations to the Board of Ada County Commissioners on county parks, open space and trails-related matters, and typically meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 12:00 p.m. This opening is for a 3 year term through September 30, 2021. 

To qualify, applicants must reside in Ada County, and preferably have a passion for open space preservation and recreational trails experience.  Board members should also have, or be willing to acquire, a good working knowledge of Ada County’s Comprehensive Plan and an understanding of how its guiding principles impact parks and trails operations and open space preservation throughout Ada County.
