Serve on the Western Idaho Fair Advisory Board

(Boise, ID) – The Board of Ada County Commissioners is now seeking an individual (1) interested in volunteering their time to serve on the Western Idaho Fair Advisory Board. 

This advisory board is comprised of seven (7) members who are each appointed to serve a three (3) year term.  Board members serve in an advisory capacity and help guide and direct all planning aspects of the Western Idaho Fair and other events that take place on the Expo Idaho property.  The advisory board meets the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m., and members may also perform additional duties and functions as outlined in the board's by-laws. 

Individuals interested in serving on this board are asked to complete a volunteer board application, available at the Ada County Commissioners’ Office or on the web.  The Commissioners’ Office is located on the third floor of the Ada County Courthouse at 200 W. Front Street, Boise, 83702.  The application is also available on the Ada County website at www.adacounty.id.gov/Commissioners, and from there click on the Volunteer Board Information link.
