Ada County Opioid Crisis Series 1

The opioid epidemic has taken hold, not just at a national level, but right here in our community, in our neighborhoods, in our schools and in our families. Ada County Problem Solving Courts, along with their partners in the fight; the Veterans Administration, Ada County Paramedics, Ten Mile Christian Church and the Idaho Department of Correction are hosting a series of educational awareness events on the opioid crisis in Ada County.

The opioid crisis must be confronted and addressed locally. Ada County wants to draw attention to this critical situation, educate the community and work together to prevent further abuse. There is a stigma about addiction. These events will help break the silence and provide a place for the community to speak candidly and compassionately. Normalizing conversations about addiction and treatment empower individuals to help others and/or get the help they so desperately need.

Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend.
