The East parking lot of the Ada County Courthouse (200 W. Front Street) is fully accessible to patrons with disabilities. Taxis, vans and special service vehicles may access the East parking lot to discharge disabled individuals without incurring a parking fee. There are also several disabled and van-accessible parking spaces for your convenience.

Building Access

A disabled patron entrance is located at the East side of the courthouse. If you need assistance, ring the buzzer and someone will assist you. The main entrance to the courthouse is also accessible.

Wheelchairs are available for individuals with mobility impairments who may need assistance.

BrailleALTERNATE FORMATS

Within ten calendar days of a request, any of our information will be made available in alternative formats such as Braille, large print, audiotape and/or computer disk.

Assistive Listening deviceASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES

Assistive listening devices are available for public use and can be checked out at the Transcript Office on the 4th floor of the Courthouse, room #4171.

ASL InterpretersASL INTERPRETERS

In special circumstances, a sign language interpreter may be needed to conduct business that is too complex to explain with the use of handwritten notes (for example, a court proceeding or Indigent Services issue). If an ASL accommodation is needed to contact the Language Access Office at (208) 287-7686. Advanced notice is required.
