ABOUT HUMAN RESOURCES
Human Resources is organized according to its many functions and services with one person assigned to each area of specialization who is proficient in County policy, as well as in state and federal laws and regulations. To accomplish their mission, the HR team partners with other offices, divisions, and employees to provide professional guidance and services in five domains: policy development and administration, recruitment and retention, compensation, performance and recognition programs, and employment legal compliance. The HR Training & Development team is skilled at identifying and meeting our customers' needs for employee professional development. Our goal is to ensure that Ada County's workforce is well trained and capable of performing at the highest level possible. Our needs based approach to professional development goes beyond training. We provide a wide range of responses to each request, from needs assessment to training management, structured classes, facilitation, coaching, guidance, and educational referrals. The skill sets we provide to individual employees help departments and offices operate successfully.
