To educate Ada County residents about the various functions of
County government and inform them of important County programs,
services, and community issues that may impact their lives.
The Communications team manages communications and public information related matters for the Board of Ada County Commissioners and Ada County departments and offices. This team works to provide timely and relevant information to departments, offices, and the public, regarding current issues, events and initiatives of Ada County government. This includes handling media and community relations, management of social media and electronic communications tools, issuance of news releases, oversight of internal communications, web site development, marketing initiatives, management of special projects and events, and additional related matters. The Communications team also manages Ada County’s Continuity of Operations (COOP) program, and its annual Charitable Giving Campaign
